NEPA TRAVELING DART LEAGUE

September 16th, 2008

Meeting Minutes

Dart meeting held at Don Carlo’s in Nanticoke.  This meeting was held in order to finalize divisions to start the season on Sept. 17th.

Larry’s Pizza at the last minute dropped from the league stating that they do not want to travel to the Larksville Legion.

This action left the league to have only 15 teams including the Larksville Legion.  The NEPA does not have a current schedule that could accommodate 15 teams, so with the absence of a 16th team, the league had no choice but to reluctantly drop the Larksville Legion.

The reason the Larksville Legion was picked to be removed instead of one of the new first year teams was because the LL was the only team that was located outside the NPPT regional area boundries.

The NEPA Traveling Dart League strongly states that the shooters of both Larry’s Pizza and the Larksville Legioin are welcome to shoot in the NEPA.  In the case of the Larksville Legion it is recommended that they move their team to within the boundries of the NPPT region.  Otherwise they will have to wait until a Midvalley region is established.

The remaining 14 teams comprise the 2009 season.  The divisions were picked at random.

Make sure Jack receives the sheets asap after Wednesdays match.  He accepts the sheets via computer scan.

Double check the scoresheets, handicap and spot.  It is the team Capt./Rep. responsibility for both teams to ensure the wins and losses are correct.  If Jack find an error the sheets will NOT be adjusted.

We will use last years averages for first three weeks.  Any shooters coming in from Plains or the LCTDL will use those established averages for the first three weeks.

Any questions contact any league officer.
