NEPA Traveling Dart League
Three/Four
Our Organizational meeting
for session two was held at the Crossroads Inn
in Mountain Top on August 9th.
The following adjustments to
the rules will be made for this session.
The A division cap for the
top three shooters on any roster will be
raised to 122.0.
Each team will be responsible
to pay $60 good faith money. This
money is NOT to
be collected from any sponsor, this is a shooters
league.
This money will be used in
case of forfeit and will be returned at
the end of the session.
Individual awards will be
increased to $50 for high game and
$50 for
high series. 2nd place will remain $100 but may
be
increased, depending on number of team entries. Other monetary
awards may be added if enough teams join.
A returning shooters average
will be calculated by averaging their entry
average with their ending average.
If a shooter is new to this
session, their highest documented previous
average will be used.
If many years have passed since they shot,
the league will decide on an appropriate starting
average.
The league will continue with
an open roster of unlimited shooters.
A sandbagging rule was
added. If a shooter is suspected of
holding down
their average to possibly affect a future session, their
entry average will
be adjusted to a reasonable number to be decided by non
affected team
representatives. This decision
will be done by secret vote
via email to be tallied by the president. This rule is being implemented
for the purpose of keeping the integrity of American
Darts without
corruption or manipulation.
There were no B division
representatives present. Therefore no
adjustments
will be made.
